Caesars Palace Online Casino has recently launched Remote Reels, a groundbreaking feature that allows players in New Jersey to spin real slot machines located on the casino floor at Tropicana Atlantic City, all from the comfort of their phones or computers. The cutting-edge offering combines the excitement of land-based slots with the convenience of online play, bringing a true Atlantic City experience into players’ homes.
The Remote Reels studio is situated right on the bustling casino floor of Tropicana Atlantic City. Spanning over 900 square feet, the glass-enclosed studio houses 25 real slot machines. Unlike traditional online slots that run on random number generators, Remote Reels lets players control actual physical machines in real time, providing the same thrill as pulling the lever in person.
Only one player can operate a machine at a time, ensuring the experience mirrors that of playing on-site. Popular titles available through Remote Reels include Huff N’ Even More Puff, Mo’ Mummy Valley of Riches, Mo’ Mummy Mighty Pyramid, and Buffalo Triple Boost, along with a variety of top-performing slots from major developers like Aristocrat and Light and Wonder.
The launch of Remote Reels is part of a broader push by Caesars to innovate and differentiate in the highly competitive iGaming market. Caesars Digital’s Senior Vice President and Chief iGaming Officer, Matthew Sunderland, noted that this new feature delivers the familiar thrill of playing slots on the casino floor with the freedom and convenience of mobile access.
Joseph Giunta, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Tropicana Atlantic City, echoed this sentiment. He emphasized that Remote Reels enhances the Atlantic City experience by allowing players across New Jersey to connect with the physical casino environment without having to set foot inside the property.
The Remote Reels studio was developed in collaboration with Awager, combining advanced streaming technology with the traditional casino atmosphere. The glass-walled space is visible to in-person visitors at Tropicana but is dedicated exclusively to online players.
Remote Reels is not the first innovation Caesars has brought to the online gaming space. The company recently launched Caesars Palace Signature Multihand Blackjack Surrender, a proprietary table game developed by its in-house studio. It also rolled out an NBA-themed live dealer blackjack game through its partnership with the National Basketball Association and introduced the exclusive online slot Ultimate Fire Link Cash Falls: By the Bay.
The launch comes as the New Jersey online casino market continues to boom. In 2024, online casino revenue in the state exceeded 2.38 billion dollars, a 24 percent increase from last year. Caesars Palace Online Casino has already generated 78.3 million dollars in gross gaming revenue in 2025, placing it fifth among New Jersey operators behind FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, and Borgata Online.
