Live Blackjack and Baccarat Get Tech Boost with Avanti Distribution Deal

Live casino gaming in North America may be welcoming a new phase, shaped by technology that reduces overhead while maintaining the realism players expect. Avanti Studios has signed a strategic distribution agreement with Light & Wonder, positioning its motion-capture-powered live dealer portfolio for rollout across regulated markets, including Canada.

Through Light & Wonder’s aggregation platform, operators gain access to Avanti’s next-generation live casino titles without the need to invest in traditional studio builds.

How It Works

Conventional live casino platforms depend on physical studios, multiple camera setups and on-site dealers. While effective, that structure can be costly to scale across new jurisdictions or languages.

Avanti replaces the physical studio model with motion capture. Professional dealers are recorded performing authentic table movements, gestures and speech patterns. Those inputs are then converted into highly realistic digital dealer clones using advanced 3D animation and audio technology. The finished product streams directly into live blackjack, baccarat, and other table games in HD.

This approach allows operators to expand table counts, adjust betting limits and localize dealer presentation without building new studios or hiring additional staff. Dealer language, visual elements and tone can be customized to suit specific markets, offering flexibility in regions with diverse player bases such as Canada.

The Market Rollout and Expansion Plans

The first regulated launches under the partnership will take place in Spain and Brazil. The lineup includes live blackjack, baccarat, Dragon Tiger, and Avanti’s proprietary Toro y Matador titles.

In Brazil, the platform will feature Portuguese-speaking digital dealers and betting structures tailored to local demand. That model illustrates how quickly the technology can adapt to new markets compared to traditional studio expansion.

Canada remains a key region to watch. As regulated online casinos continue gaining traction in provinces such as Ontario, scalable live dealer solutions could help operators meet player demand without extended development timelines or significant capital expenditure.

What’s In It for North American Live Casino Players

Consistency and availability remain two major priorities in live gaming. Motion-capture-based dealers provide uniform presentation across sessions while enabling operators to keep tables open around the clock. Expanded betting limits and additional tables can be introduced quickly, helping platforms respond to peak traffic periods.

Competition among live casino suppliers continues to intensify, especially as player expectations rise for HD streaming, seamless gameplay and localized content. Technology-driven models such as Avanti’s suggest the industry is moving toward hybrid experiences that combine digital efficiency with the feel of a live dealer environment.

Wider adoption will depend on regulatory approvals and player reception, but the partnership signals growing interest in scalable, customizable live casino infrastructure across North America.
