Playtech Extends Footprint in More Key Markets

Playtech has been known for being very aggressive in its pursuit of growth. The London-listed company already has partnerships with a number of established gambling brands across the world and it is not slowing down in its bid for even more expansion.

Extension of Partnership with Betfred

In addition to the recent move that involved further cementing its relationship with GVC Holdings, the gaming technology company has recently gone further to extend its partnership with Betfred. In the United Kingdom, Betfred is one of the most recognizable gaming brands thanks to its emphasis on delivering top-notch gaming services and products.

As per the terms of the four-year agreement deal, Playtech will be providing Betfred with a wide range of gambling products including casino, bingo, poker, and live gaming content. It is also worth noting that Playtech will be providing its content to Betfred on an exclusive basis within the UK market.

“We are delighted that Betfred, the world’s largest independent bookmaker and a key long-term partner for Playtech, has chosen to commit to an exclusive agreement across four key verticals,” said Playtech chief operating officer Shimon Akad.

The partnership between the two companies has been in place for over a decade and its extension gives them both even more time to solidify their positions as leading gaming companies. It will be interesting to see all the interesting things that they will be unveiling to their customers over the next four years. Betfred’s officials have already set the bar very high by saying that their users should prepare for more innovative content all of which will be backed by the latest cutting-edge technology.

New Live Roulette Titles for the Spanish Market

As mentioned earlier, GVC Holdings has also recently deepened its relationship with Playtech. The two companies have recently updated their offerings by adding three new Live Roulette tables that are meant for the Spanish market.

The newly unveiled Live Roulette tables will all go live across GVC Holding’s PartyPoker, PartyCasino and bwin brands. As expected, they feature all of the newest gaming technology in the industry. The most notable aspect in this regard is the fact that they are the very first ones on the planet to be designed around Playtech Live’s green screen technology.  Spanish players can, therefore, expect a lot of the bells and whistles.

Spain has been on Playtech’s crosshairs for quite a while and the company has been working very hard to make itself a huge part of the market. In addition to the extension of its partnership with GVC Holdings, Playtech has also recently extended its partnership with CasinoBarcelona.es which is one of the most popular online gaming destinations in the country. The partnership will see even more of Playtech’s gaming solutions made available on the site.
