Playtech Launches First-Ever Live Slots

About two weeks to the end of 2019, renowned online gambling software developer Playtech unveiled a couple of new additions to its neat Live Casino portfolio. The first product that the casino operator announced was its Live Slots – these are the first of their kind which makes them a very big deal.

Playtech’s Live Slots are based on a cross-vertical concept which basically transforms online reel spinning into a more immersive and collective experience. To achieve this, the games pack a ton of new features including one eye-catching one referred to as community spins – these will give all the participating players the opportunity to play together on a single slot game.

Moreover, the participating players will be able to customize and personalize a number of options. These include bet limits, bets per spin as well as the number of spins. All that will be possible as the game progresses automatically with spins being initiated every few seconds. The Players will also be able to enjoy a Free Spins bonus feature which is also the very first of its kind in the live casino gaming space.

The first slot title to be adapted in order to offer the Live Slot experience was Buffalo Blitz. This 6-reel slot game offers a total of 4,096 ways to win which makes it one of the most popular games in Playtech’s portfolio. Just all the other games that are categorized under Playtech’ Live Slots, it is now available on all of the company’s online gambling partners.

Getting down to the finer details, all the reel-spinning action is streamed from a Playtech live studio. The game progresses thanks to a host who leads the game and comments on all that occurs in the course of the game.

One More Title Added to Quantum Live Casino Series

The Live Slots aside, Playtech also added a second and very highly-anticipated title to its Quantum Live Casino portfolio. Quantum Blackjack, the new game in the series, is also quite unique since it is the first-ever multiplier-based blackjack game. Players can, therefore, expect very innovative gameplay and just like Quantum Roulette, it is expected to quickly be a fan-favorite game.

“We’re confident that, as the first-to-market multiplier-based Blackjack game, Quantum Blackjack will prove equally popular and set the tone for future Quantum Releases,” Playtech’s Head of Innovation for Live Casino, Kevin Kilminster commented.

All these launches are a great way for the company to usher in 2020 and perhaps get their customers ready for even more new and innovative products. Company officials have confirmed that they indeed have plans to launch many more offerings this year.
